JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for analyzing the promotional potential of the bank and developing marketing and sales plans and processes to support trends.
Contribute to the banks profit through creative advertising on website, newspaper, radio, lobby plasma screens, yellow pages, on hold messages, audichron, billboards, banners, lobby signage, and school programs.
Promote the bank by implementing and maintaining a social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
Use social media to advertise products, services, community involvement and activities, and financial advice.
Create Flash Ads for website and plasma TVs.
Provide Marketing resources to all locations.
Prepare creative briefs, write and edit internal/technical documents for internal and customer-facing materials.
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
Website Development
o Perform regular reviews of the website to ensure content, accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
Use creative ability and experience to design, implement and maintain Products and Services Training, Customer Service Training, Service Excellence Training including Culture and Expectations, and Sales Training Programs.
Understand and utilize the marketing segment of BancIntelligence.
Research and understand the specific demographics of each market and determine ways to effectively reach the customer base.
Work closely with Marketing Project Manager to maintain overall inventory of all collateral.
Other duties as assigned.
Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
Follow the direction of supervisor.
Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Perform other duties and projects as required by management
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred
1 to 3 years previous banking experience preferred
Marketing, sales, and advertising experience preferred
Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures
Strong sense of customer service, and strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and driven to succeed with a wide degree of creativity
Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Strong team building and interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity
Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment, marketing supplies, promotional property)
Possible driving to various banking centers, client locations, seminar locations, and other sites as needed
Normal office environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
