Reports directly to Manager - HSE - Drug & Alcohol Program. Under general direction from Manager, HR, HSE and Legal, assists in the development of, and provides assistance in implementing Company substance abuse policy and processes across all business sectors. With Manager's direction, responds to client and regulatory inquires and ensures compliance with all standards and requirements relating to substance abuse programs. Position requires interfacing with operations, regulatory personnel, and customers on a frequent basis, providing technical expertise and assuring consistency of program administration. Maintains professional knowledge of existing and proposed changes in all rules and regulations pertaining to substance abuse testing and over-all program content. Expected to engage in various administrative activities as well as make presentations and participate in conferences and industry associations. Assists in and coordinates appropriate training development and delivery. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint are required. Must have the ability to learn software applications for the testing data maintenance and reporting of statistics. Daily interaction and activities with external vendors that provide goods and services to substance abuse program. Position is region/global in scope.
Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in a related field Human Resources, HSE, Science, or Engineering. Professional certification preferred. Up to three years of relevant experience preferred
